Are you required to write legal articles and blogs?

Some people love writing. Others hate it.

For many lawyers, it is part of the job. They need to write blogs and articles in order to build their reputation and attract new clients. Few lawyers are trained how to do it.

Our training course, Article and Blog Writing for Lawyers, can help.

"I thought the session yesterday was excellent – Simon is an engaging speaker. Well worth running and I’d recommend it for fee earners of all levels."
Ian Gatt QC, Partner, Stewarts

The course is suitable for lawyers at all stages of their career, and is especially useful for trainees and newly qualifieds. In it, delegates will learn how to write articles and blogs that can help win new clients and retain existing ones by:

  • Targeting their writing at a specific audience
  • Coming up with relevant and compelling ideas
  • Making their writing more engaging and readable

The course costs £1195 plus VAT for up to 12 delegates at a time and lasts two and a half hours.

“Great, very enjoyable”

“Very interesting and helpful, thank you”

"Inspiring and motivating talk. Generated lots of new ideas and made me think about how to maximise the impact of our writing.”

Delegates from Harcus Sinclair, Solicitors

“I thought the training was excellent and I learnt a lot of things (dos and don’ts). I think Simon presented it very well and in an interactive manner. 2.5 hours works well and although is quite a bit of time away from our desks if busy, it was all valuable material covered and I wouldn’t want to see the training session shortened as I don’t think people would then get the full benefit of it. Overall I think it was excellent and I am keen to see it rolled out to more members of the firm.”

Fiona Gillett, Partner, Stewarts

"I thought the session yesterday was excellent. Simon is an engaging speaker and the amount of practical work, “chalk and talk” and Q&A was just right. He is good at stimulating ideas. All a bit daunting really as it means ironing out years of entrenched writing practices but he really makes you sit up and think. Well worth running and I’d recommend it for fee earners of all levels."

Ian Gatt QC, Partner, Stewarts

"Simon's expertise was just perfect for us as it's a combination of his legal background and journalistic education. That's an ideal person to teach lawyers how to write content, which is a challenge for many legal firms. We found his session very informative and inspiring. I would recommend Simon's workshop on writing skills to any professional services firm."

Zhanna Sutton, Head of Marketing, GSC Solicitors

“When the calendar reminder flashed up on my desktop, my first thought was to wonder why I had signed up to give up two and a half hours of a busy day. However, every minute was worth it and I learned a great deal. The materials and subject matter were very good and the presentation style was first rate.”

Paul Sprague, Joelson

“The course was brilliant. Simon was really knowledgeable and a great trainer. I knew very little about blogging and didn't have a clue where to start. After the course I came away understanding the different content I could experiment with and some great ideas for topics that I hadn't even thought about.”
